Visit Voss - How to showcase an entire village?

Voss is one of Norway's coolest places to do activities for the whole family. We regularly work with Visit Voss to create commercials for all the different attractions. Together with Visit Voss, we try to show how unique Voss can be and how it is an adventurous place to visit, both for families and extreme sports athletes.

Challenge:
Visit Voss generally had little promotional material for its digital channels. They needed to refresh almost all of their activity offerings in the hope of attracting even more tourists to the village.

Solution:
We quickly realized that video was the solution to the problem. As the budget was not unlimited, the goal was to create relatively short (around one minute) videos that would capture the joy of doing the activities. To capture the joy, we wanted to make the videos personal by getting close to the people doing the activities and really bring out the spontaneous joy on their faces. Combined with spectacular drone footage, we found a combination that has yielded very good results.

Theresult:
With most of the videos, we experience viewing rates of between 50-60% on each video ad on YouTube, and there is a steady increase in visitors to the village.
